Team Rules

Union Shield

  • 3 people per team
  • Separate A, B, C and F Class Teams (F Class teams can include 1 F Open shooter)
  • 7 shots to count at 300, 500 and 600yds
  • Time limit 35 minutes plus 2 minutes sighting at all ranges.
  • Shooters can shoot in grades above their grading but no extra points will be allocated to compensate for shooting above their grade.
  • With smaller numbers in teams we do not intend to allow shooters to shoot below their grade.
  • Each club will be able to shoot two teams on one target. There will be a short break between the 2 teams on one target at each range
  • We need to be organised and on the range ready for the briefing and then to start shooting ASAP.

In practice we usually finish earlier at each range though time is needed between ranges to change electronic target settings

 

Bert Dixon

  • 4 person TR teams, 3 person F Class Teams
  • TR Teams of 2A, 1B, 1C
  • F Class Teams can include one F Open member
  • 7 shots to count at 300, 500 and 600yds
  • TR Time limit is 45 minutes plus 2 minutes sighting at all ranges, F Class 35 minutes plus 2 minutes sighting.

 

Ken Geange

  • 4 person TR teams, 3 person F Class Teams
  • TR Teams of 2A, 1B, 1C
  • F Class Teams can include one F Open member
  • 10 shots to count at 900 and 1000yds
  • TR time limit 64 minutes plus 2 minutes sighting. F Class, 48 minutes plus 2 minutes sighting.

 

Ralph King Cup:

  • Club champions in A, B, C and Tyro, F Open, FTR and Classic Rifle compete against each other for the title of WRA Champion of their grade.
  • 7 shots to count at 300, 500 and 600yds
  • Time limit 10 minutes at 300, 11 minutes at 500 and 600yds, shooters will have 5 minutes preparation time.

A team event is shot concurrently with teams made up of the FTR, A, B, and C grade club champions.  If a winner of a grade is absent on the day the match is shot then the club may substitute the next highest placed member of the grade available.  A substitute while they will shoot shoulder to shoulder with the other grade champions for the teams event have not qualified to compete for their grade prize and are not eligible to win it.
